weihnachtliches Woll-Wichteln

Wie jedes Jahr habe ich mich auch diesmal dazu hinreißen lassen an wenigstens einem Wichteln teilzunehmen. Gewichtelt wurde Wolle die man persönlich nicht gebrauchen konnte, in der Hoffnung der Wichtelpartner würde die Farben lieber mögen ;) tat sie nicht, aber ich hab es mit einem schlichten "antik" von Regia ganz gut getroffen! Da find ich bestimmt was, was ich draus machen kann und jemandem dem ich es weiter schenken kann :P

Like the last years I participated in one "Wichteln" (you are randomly chosen a partner to send a little gift to - in this case of course yarn, in return you are gifted with something yourself. you can "wichtel" two ways: nice way would be you send nice things to make your partner happy or the bad version where you chose the most ugly stuff and hope your partner does not have the same taste - we had the bad version! In any case it is a surprise what you are gifted!). My Wichtelchild did not like the wool I send her, I was a bit disappointed, I admit, because I chose some wool I dyed myself this summer with a rest of elder juice, but anyways the yarn I got back is nice enough to find someone to give it to ;) At least when it is knitted into a scarf or something, maybe my mother-in-law ;)
