.. noch einmal in diesem Jahre...
Natürlich nicht alles, das wäre etwas viel! Aber das was ich mir selbst im Dezember geschenkt hab!
Die Wolle von Yvonne Ginsterblums Mützelfabrik - die nun nicht länger Mützelfabrik heißt, sondern "färbulous" was inzwischen wohl auch viel passender ist ;)
Und dann noch die Abo-Wolle von Astrids Wollstübchen, die sich zum Dezember hin mal wieder selbst übertroffen hat und bei der ich voller Freude auf ein neues Jahr mit Abo blicke!
Und dann noch ein Bild von dem Weihnachtsgeschenk mit dem ich mir die größte Freude gemacht hätte, wäre es nicht so eine bescheidene Ausführung - ein ebay-Schnäppchen, aber "neu" war in der Artikelbeschreibung gelogen! ... aber immerhin, es funktioniert!
Ich wünsche euch allen einen guten Rutsch und ein erfolgreiches neues Jahr und hoffe ihr bleibt mir treu! Ich freu mich auf euch!

Not all of it of course, that would be disturbingly much ;) But those I gifted myself with in december!
There'd be the yarn from Yvonne Ginsterblums Mützelfabrik - now called färbulous, a more fitting name so to say!
And then the yarn I have a subscription for from Astrids Wollstübchen. She really excelled herself and I am looking forward to another year of sub with her yarn!
And then a pic from what would have been the best christmas present from myself for me if the construction hadn't been so poor - ebay lied about the "new" part here! ... at least, it works!

Flower Power
Eigentlich wollte ich euch anderes zeigen, aber ich fand es so lustig, dass ich es euch sofort posten muss ;)
Mein Kind, genauer gesagt die Tochter, war der Meinung Labello eignet sich hervorragend um damit Blümchen an die Wand zu malen (vielleicht lag es am Kirschgeruch)... statt nun auszurasten (wie mein Mann) hab ich das Zeug so gut es geht mit ihr versucht von der Wand zu kriegen, aber der Kram ist verdammt hartnäckig!
Was macht die Hausfrau? Es gibt ja nicht viele Möglichkeiten - Wand streichen? Im Kinderzimmer? Damit es nach 24 Stunden genauso aussieht? No way! Kind anschreien? Davon wird die Wand auch nicht besser! So lassen? Ähm, nö, so leicht pinke Schlieren an der Wand da kann man ja keinen Besuch mehr rein lassen ohne das man sich schämen müsste... also: Kind will Blumen, Kind kriegt Blumen!
Buntes Papier und Schere und die Tochter ist beschäftigt und ich male den Stil! Der Prittstift erledigt den Rest!

I wanted to show you something else, but I had to laugh so hard I really need to post this directly to you:)
My daughter wanted flowers - unluckily she chose labello lipstick for this (maybe it was the cherry smell)! this stuff really does not come off easily!! So what does the good housewife???
Recolour the wall? To have it look like that again in less than 24 hours? No way! Yell hat the child? Won't make the wall any better. Leave it like that? erm - no! I tried to get rid of it with some baby wipes, not very successful, I admit, the wall is still rose and smelly.. so leave it like that? erm - even less than the flowers! So:
The child wants flowers, she shall have them!
I did the meadow, my daughter cut the blossoms and we both glued them to the wall :D

weihnachtliches Woll-Wichteln
Wie jedes Jahr habe ich mich auch diesmal dazu hinreißen lassen an wenigstens einem Wichteln teilzunehmen. Gewichtelt wurde Wolle die man persönlich nicht gebrauchen konnte, in der Hoffnung der Wichtelpartner würde die Farben lieber mögen ;) tat sie nicht, aber ich hab es mit einem schlichten "antik" von Regia ganz gut getroffen! Da find ich bestimmt was, was ich draus machen kann und jemandem dem ich es weiter schenken kann :P
Like the last years I participated in one "Wichteln" (you are randomly chosen a partner to send a little gift to - in this case of course yarn, in return you are gifted with something yourself. you can "wichtel" two ways: nice way would be you send nice things to make your partner happy or the bad version where you chose the most ugly stuff and hope your partner does not have the same taste - we had the bad version! In any case it is a surprise what you are gifted!). My Wichtelchild did not like the wool I send her, I was a bit disappointed, I admit, because I chose some wool I dyed myself this summer with a rest of elder juice, but anyways the yarn I got back is nice enough to find someone to give it to ;) At least when it is knitted into a scarf or something, maybe my mother-in-law ;)
