Solarfärben

Aus gegebenem Anlass und noch vorhandener Sonne zeige ich euch mal was so aus meinem Glas voll mit Wolle und Blumen geworden ist:

erster Ansatz

nach etwa drei Wochen

das Ergebnis
pastell-grün und beige

 Und weil es so viel Spaß gemacht hat hab ich gleich ein zweites Glas angesetzt:

zweiter Versuch: rote Beete

 und nach einigem hadern wollte ich doch den Sonnenschein nutzen und hab auch noch meine letzte Wolle ins Glas gestopft:

dritter Verscuh: Tomate Holunder

Ich bin gespannt was bei rauskommt!
Auch wenn das erste Ergebnis etwas sehr pastellig war, mir macht es Spaß und ich werd weiter machen - nachdem ich bei Blaubeern nicht an Sahne oder Vanillieeis denke sondern an blockierte Gläser und dass ich keine rohweiße Wolle mehr hab ;)

A few weeks ago I tried "solardying" - what you can see above is my first try and what came out after three weeks waiting - a light green with little brown! not exactly what I had hoped for, but I still like it! 
I want more!!! :P
the lower two glasses are containing my next trys - which I had to start right away because I fear the summer won't last ;) and thus I wanted to use what sun I can get :D
I keep you informed what the results will be! 
the second one will be opend around monday, the third is depending on the sun and the development of the tomatos in the bottom ;)

Und da es ja mit einem Wollladen nicht getan ist, war ich natürlich auch in einem zweiten ;)

Und ich möchte mich noch einmal ganz herzlich für die wunderschöne Strickzeit bedanken die ich dort während der Stricktreffs hatte und ich bin zutiefst traurig die nächsten verpassen zu müssen! Aber ich komm wieder!

Hier habe ich mich dann noch dazu verleiten lassen etwas wunderschöne grüne Evilla zu kaufen! Fast wäre es noch mehr geworden und die Entscheidung war keine leichte, aber der Geldbeutel und die Reisetasche waren schon zu knapp für weitere.... aber dabei haben mich noch drei Stränge so angelacht!!!
Immerhin, die zwei dicken Dinger auf der rechten Seite sind schon verplant!

Evilla

of course I am not done with one yarnshop, so I went to another ;)

and I wanted to say thank you for the great time I had there during the knitting meetings for which I am sorry to miss the coming ones!

There I had hard time deciding which evilla I wanted to take home, because neither my moneybag nor my travelbag could hold more shoppings - even more wool was smiling my way!
At least for the one on the right side I already have a project watitng ;)

Was macht frau im Urlaub wenn sie nicht strickt? Klar, sie kauft Wolle ;)
Und wie könnte sie auch anders wenn sie umgeben von herrlichen Wollläden ist??

Da ist zum einen der Laden mit dem passenden Namen "Woll-Sucht" und wenn man nicht ohnehin süchtig ist, ist man es nach einem Besuch dort! Mir fiel auch auf das immerhin Schoppel einen auf den Zauberbällen warnt das Suchtgefahr besteht, nett! auf der von mir gekauften Karat war allerdings keine Warnung, vielleicht ist sie deswegen mit in meiner Tüte gelandet ;)

What does a woman in her holidays when not knitting? Sure, she goes out to buy some wool ;)
And how couldn't she with such lovely yarnshops around??

First there is the one named "Woll-Sucht" which you could translate with "wool-addiction" which is kind of right so no chance not going in there or getting out with empty hands... By that chance I noticed that Schoppel warns people on some of their yarn that you might get addicted - nice, but too late for me! Still on the one I bought was no warning ;)

Urlaub beendet

So, da bin ich wieder und hab euch feine Bilder mitgebracht!

Ich hoff ihr hattet Spaß mit Mia, denn lange wird ihr Tuch so wie alle Beiträge nicht auf dem Blog bleiben. Aber - ich arbeite an Größerem mit Mia! Und ich hoffe inständig, dass meine Idee keine schlechte ist!

Der Urlaub war übrigens schön, und ich hab natürlich mal wieder mehr gekauft als abgearbeitet... was allerdings damit zusammenhängen könnte, dass ich auch weniger geschafft hab als ich wollte!
Ab nächste Woche geht aber die Maus in den Kiga und dann hab ich morgens vielleicht mal etwas mehr Ruhe ;) die Hoffnung stirbt ja bekanntlich zuletzt! ;)

I'm back and brought you some nice pics ;)

Hope you had a good time with Mia - more or less as it wasn't in English, yet the pattern is, so you can still knit it! But I am working on something bigger about Mia and I really hope the idea isn't a bad one!

The vacation itself was nice and of course I did buy some more yarn than I worked off ... what could possibly be because I did not get as much done as I had planed - but well, things usally don't go as planned around here ;)
So my girly will start kindergarten next week, what hopefully gives me some more room during the morning - but I am not counting on it ;)

Mia hat uns nun wieder verlassen - ich arbeite daran, dass sie bald wieder kommt und weitere Anleitungen mitbringt :)

Mia is gone now - I am working on it that she'll be back soon and bring some more patterns :)
